Have your teen learn this beneficail skill not only to save money, but also to boost their confidence with the sense of achievment one gets after building a complex machine. In this 4 hour Build a PC workshop, your teen will have the chance to build, configure, set up, and take home their very own custom-built desktop!

BUILD A PC THAT PLAYS

Building a PC can seem overwhelming. All the wires and components confuse the best of us. But it does not have to be that way. In our 4 hour long workshop, we teach your teen where and how to get the cheapest components and make the best build within a budget. They not only build a completely functioning Windows 11 computer themseleves, but also TAKE IT HOME.

CURRCULUM

Know exactly what your teen will be learing in this informative workshop. From PC components to form factors. We cover all necessary things that your teen will need to know. After the workshop, each teen will be given our custom PC cheat-sheet which helps them to remember what they learned and make custom builds in future.

Components

Students learn about the main components required to build a PC. Each component serves a specific purpose and learining about what each component does helps the student building the best build under budget.

Compatibility

Each component has several variants so the students also learn about compatiblility between these components. From socket types to chipsets, we cover everything needed to make sure that all components are compatible

Connections

After getting the right and compatible components, its time to connect them together. Students learn the purpose of those complex and confusing wires coming out of the power supply which won't be as complex once this section is over.

Setup

Once we have our PC functioning, its time to set it up and configure to work according to our needs. This is where the operating system of our motherboards come in, also known as the BIOS.

Operating system

Now comes the easy part. The students finally gets to see their project in action. Students learn to wipe hard drives and get them ready to install Windows 11 from a bootable USB.

Have Fun!

This the last and most important section of our workshop. Students now have the compatible components built together. Hard drive has been wiped and Windows 11 is installed on the PC. It's time to now download games and watch this amazing custom built desktop in action.

Simple answer, Everything! All your teens to do is be present and enjoy the workshop. We will provide all the necessary parts and equipment needed.

Does my teen get to keep the computer

Yes! The entire purpose of this workshop is for your teen to learn, build, configure and take home their own custom PC, using the parts we provide.

When do I pay for the workshop

After the workshop ends. We don't want your card details. Parents pay via Zelle, CashApp, or Cash after the workshop ends.

How big is the class

We keep our workshops extremely focused since its mostly hands on work. Each workshop is limited to 8 teens at a time.
